Escaping The Tempests
A Drew Boze Suspense Thriller
Set in the terror-ridden context of today's Philippines, this story weaves a tale of assassination, love, and intrigue. From the city of Manila to the lush jungles of Mt. Mayon volcano, the reader will feel the tempests in the minds of the characters as well as the typhoons of the Bicol region.

When CIA operative, Drew Boze, is targeted for a hit, his investigation into its source reveals a more sinister terror plot by the extreme Muslim faction, Abu Sayyaf. A newly arrived American contract worker quickly falls for a beautiful Filipina and then gets himself kidnapped by the terrorists.
Boze’s efforts to free the American lead to the discovery of part of the terror group’s violent objective. From the guerilla camp deep in the Bicol forest amid a tropical typhoon, Boze discovers the involvement of a traitor who is providing tactics to the rebels. Success or failure to thwart a major terror event hinges on Boze’s ability to solve the puzzle in time.
